Scripture tells us David was a man after God’s own heart, and yet few people in the Bible fail as publicly or plainly as David does. Many of us want to follow God, yet we know we mess up and sometimes badly. What sets David apart is what he does when he realizes his sin. He repents. No matter where you are in sin, God’s mercy offers redemption.
