I Corinthians 13 is the love chapter and it’s been used in many wedding ceremonies. 
Chapter 12 is about spiritual gifts.  Chapter 14 is about spiritual gifts. 

It’s hard to believe that in the middle of this long writings on spiritual gifts, Paul thought you know, what they need is something really pretty to read at weddings. Maybe it might have something to do with spiritual gifts.  Context is important. 

The first thing Paul tells us is that we have to love and have love in our spiritual gifts, as well.  You can be eloquent, impressive, and spiritually articulate; however without love, you are just noise.  Without love, gifts become tools for ego, but with love our gifts are instruments for grace.  Gifts are used to impress but love builds people.

Love reflects the character of Christ, and spiritual gifts are given to us to make Christ visible.
